Vertical construction begins for The Ivy at Naples Grande
The Oliver Group has begun vertical construction on the first three-story building in Phase I of The Ivy at Naples Grande, a neighborhood of mid-rise residences.
Developed by The Oliver Group, The Ivy at Naples Grande offers lakefront homes with tee-to-green views of the 16th hole of the golf course. The four, three-story mid-rises in Phase I offer one residence per floor for a total of 12 homes. CBIA’s 2007 Parade of Homes sets records
This year’s CBIA’s annual Parade of Homes drew a record number of visitors. The event, which was held Nov. 1 through Nov. 18, offered the public new ideas from model homes located in a number of communities throughout Collier County and south Lee County. The parade showcased some of the most luxurious and beautiful homes on the market, as well as the latest innovations in interior design.
CBIA’s Parade Web site experienced more than 250,800 hits during the parade, nearly 40,000 more hits than in 2006. Some of the models had more than 400 viewers in one weekend, doubling past records.
This year judging was turned over to the people who visited the models. Parade-goers were encouraged to visit the Parade of Homes Web site to cast their votes on four categories: Best Outdoor Living/Landscaping; Best Curb Appeal; Best Floor Plan; and Best Overall Model.
Awards were given on three levels for each category: Platinum, Gold and Silver. Presentations were made to the winners on Dec. 4 at the CBIA-SMC Holiday Mixer at Naples Bay Resort.
Bordeaux Homes by Vision Builders’ model, Leonardo Fiore at Mediterra, swept the awards by winning the Platinum in each of the four categories.

Volterra neighborhood 65 percent sold at Miromar Lakes
Four of the 12 original sites remain for sale in the custom luxury villa neighborhood of Volterra at Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club. Construction of a furnished model is under way on a fifth site with completion scheduled for the end of this month. Marketing began with the opening of the Volterra model home in winter 2006.

The rate of sales has spurred the release of more homes for marketing at Verona Pointe, a North Naples town home community developed and built by Pulte Homes Inc.
Jill Hoffman, vice president of sales and marketing for the Southwest Florida market of Pulte Homes, said 51 residences have now been released. Verona Pointe will consist of 94 town homes in 13 two-story buildings, including five of six units each and eight of eight units each upon completion.
Each home is a two-story design with the owner’s and secondary bedrooms on the second floor. The two floor plans each offer three bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Every home has an attached garage. Prices start in the mid-$200,000s.
